Dr. Kenneth Edelson--Serving the New York City Area

Dr. Kenneth Edelson is a New York City Dermatologist in private practice for 25 years.  He is a graduate of the Mount Sinai School of Medicine, where he received an academic scholarship. He was an intern at Beth Israel Medical Center and did his Residency in Dermatology at the New York Hospital, Cornell University Medical Center.

Dr. Edelson not only received academic scholarships both as a undergraduate and a medical student, but he was also a member of the Alpha Chi-National Honor Society and the Phi Sigma Phi-National Science Honor Society. He has presented dermatologic cases to organizations such as the Atlantic Dermatologic Conference, the Metropolitan Dermatologic Society of New York, and the New York Academy of Medicine, Dermatology Division.

Dr. Edelson's practice on the Upper East Side has treated thousands of patients in all forms of Dermatology and Cosmetic Dermatologic Surgery. These patients discovered that experience does count during these important procedures, and that Dr. Edelson truly does stand out as a premier medical professional in New York City. Dr. Edelson specializes in cosmetic dermatologic surgery and skin cancer. He uses lasers and IPL's for facial rejuvenation and skin tightening, vascular lesions, pigmentation cellulite and leg veins.  He was on the ground floor as a Clinical Investigator for the Collagen Corporation and helped to launch the "first" filler, Zyderm. Dr. Edelson is experienced in all fillers including Juvederm, Restylane, Radiesse, Evolence and Botox. He wrote the chapter on "Fillers and Recontouring The Hand", for the textbook: "Cosmetic Dermatology: A Comprehensive Medical and Surgical Text", to be published soon internationally by Wiley-Blackwell, and a similar lead article as the Master Case Series article of the March 2009 issue of the indexed "Journal of Cosmetic Dermatology."
